The City Academy, Hackney has been judged outstanding by Ofsted overall and in all four areas of inspection. You can read the full report here.
An Ofsted Section 8 inspection in January 2011 also judged us to be outstanding.
Ofsted Inspectors said that there is “educational environment with opportunities to excel in a safe, inspiring and enriching atmosphere. Staff, students and their parents and carers have all made a significant contribution to the academy’s vision and success.” They said “students feel safe” and “enjoy learning”.

“The outstanding quality of leadership and management and the strength of the shared vision for the academy have been instrumental in its success”
