As a unique 11-18 school we champion creative and interesting learning experiences for children. Our success in this was noted by Ofsted in January 2012 who judged The City Academy, Hackney to be outstanding. Students are progressing at over twice the national rate in English and achieve levels in year 8 that are above year 9 national averages, and well above that of other local schools.
Attending The City Academy, Hackney therefore represents a rare opportunity for students to benefit from an enhanced educational environment, with the highest levels of achievement and a broad, interesting, dynamic curriculum designed to help students achieve the utmost in personal and academic standards.
