The City Academy, Hackney day is designed to give students every opportunity to achieve to the best of their ability. The Library has extended opening hours, there are many optional activities students can participate in and all students enjoy a hot lunch and dessert or fruit every day.

Academy Uniform
Students are ambassadors for The City Academy, Hackney Academy and the wider Hackney community. As part of our commitment to the outward display of professional standards students wear their uniform with pride, including on their way to and from school. Respect for their uniform sends a very positive message to the local community, gives students a sense of belonging and prepares them for the future in a career where they may be expected to dress professionally.
